This is a collection of some of my work under the same theme – a dark fantasy world “The Book of Blood & Fire”.
The idea was to create a series of characters in the same universe, defining their classes (casts in this case). The characters are treated less as individuals and more as a representation of their trade.
I’ve used photobashing as tool to make the base for some of the characters when designing them.
The world is heavily influenced by Soulsborne since I have a giant soft spot for the games.

For TrustyKel we did banners, UI elements,offline screens and emotes representing his character - a hamster with a bucket helmet cosplaying as other well known characters. For the overall look we chose a bright pixel aesthetic.

Hi, I'm Larisa, more known as admiralxen or just Xen for short. I'm a freelance concept artist with experience in concept art and illustration. With a wide range of skills, I can help create high-quality works that meet the unique needs of each client. I love using my creativity and expertise to help create beautiful designs and build meaningful relationships with my clients, to not only live up to their standards but exceed their expectations.
Style wise I draw a lot of inspiration from games and movies that I love. I'm a big fan of cyberpunk works such as Blade Runner, science fiction and dark fantasy stories like the Souls series and other wonderful pieces of media.
When I'm not working on projects for clients, I usually spend a lot of my time with my husband, work on personal projects or indulge in some of my hobbies. I've especially been passionate about music for a long time.

All work is digitally only. You will receive a PNG, JPG or in some cases a PSD file.
All rights to the work stay with the artist, unless otherwise agreed upon.
I do not alow edits, copies, removal of the watermark or other modifications done to my work.
You must own or have written permission to use the characters you want to have drawn.
If the work is showcased anywhere, credit (+ link to socials) has to be given.
The art (on the website or other platforms) cannot be used for AI learning.

NSFW that includes full nudity, grotesque gore and depictions of intercourse.
Art featuring minors, real or fictional.
Hateful or discriminatory content.
By commissioning me you agree that you have read and understand these terms.
PROCESS
We start by discussing your ideas and details about the work.
You must provide reference pictures for the character, background, detail or anything that could help express your vision.
You will be provided updates on your commission.
Process pictures cannot be used or published unless otherwise agreen upon.
If you wish to cancel the commission before payment, you cannot use the already made work.
An example of a rought work pipeline would be.

Some steps after the sketch phase can differ depending on the style of the picture.
Past the colored sketch phase little to no revisions can be made.

FAQ
How long does it take to make one illustration or concept ?
Depends on the complexity of the piece. Anywhere from a few hours to several days. If it's a big project it can take up to a month.
When did you start drawing?
Traditionally I've been drawing since I was a kid going to different art schools.
Started drawing digitally in 2013.
What programs do you use?
Currently I mainly use Clip Studio Pro, but depending on what I'm doing I also use Photoshop or other programs.
Can I edit your art into a banner, collage, etc.?
Not unless agreed upon.
